Partners in life (and imagination), Sir Jeffrey Neil and Lady Mindy Heather have a unique history of turning the ridiculous into the remarkable… together. 

(Despite non-believing naysayers.)

It all started with a big dream: FAME.

Yes, FAME, the organization they created to gamify fitness and empower body proud breakthroughs.

What began as a single event transformed into a world tour. Blending purpose with entertainment, it ran for over a decade and blossomed into its own ecosystem of engagement featuring:

* Communities (virtual & live)

* TV Shows on 5 Continents (including a #1 hit on TSN)

* A Magazine Series (it went international)

* An Annual Expo (dubbed the world’s largest of its style

* The Rise of Influencers (fitness models & wellness)

Through the process, Jef & Mindy revolutionized fitness, introduced natural bodybuilding to the mainstream, pioneered a category-defining movement, helped unite warring nations in Africa, sparked a niche culture, and empowered a global community.

As a result of their efforts, millions of ordinary people were inspired to become extra-ordinary… to love better how they think, look, function, feel.

Plot twist. 

The momentum of transformation, the spark of self-growth, and the focus on self-care often faded the moment an event ended. Recognizing this pattern, the duo opted to make a change and stepped away from focusing solely on the live event scene.

They started working on a dream,  yes, another one:

* A Gamified Ecosystem of Empowerment

* A community where triumphs never stop

* A world where players become a hero to themselves

* A journey that is hybrid (live & virtual

* An experience that is immersive, engaging, and rewarding

* A universe that is ongoing: 24/ 7/ 365.

And it’s dedicated to readers of The Ridiculous. 

Inspired by Seinfeld, Monty Python and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Jef began writing The Ridiculous: Book 1 as a teenager. More than three decades later, during lockdown, Mindy suggested he revive it.

So he did.

He then invited her to join him.

The result: a book series with lines known to spark smiles, wordplay galore, thought-provoking insights, and unexpected chuckles. 

The Ridiculous goes beyond books as well. 

Merging entertainment with purpose again, Jef and Mindy are inviting readers to co-create inside an immersive playground.

Meaning: readers don’t just read. They collaborate.

* Music-maker? Art-creator? Submit yours for the scene.

The outcome? Trailblazing a new frontier of storytelling, if you will: A futuristic universe where fans take lead.  

Beyond working together, Jef & Mindy love spending time with each other: camping, nurturing in nature, catching live music, dancing at the front of the stage, and giggling at their fitness-flipping cat, Aura.

To end off with some seemingly “ridiculous” news, here goes: Jef & Mindy were adopted into the Taino Tribe, ordained as metaphysical ministers by an Oracle, knighted by archbishops, and anointed with the titles of Sir / Lady. Oh, and they were married within months of meeting… and it’s been over 25 years. 

Some say it was fate. 

They say… obviously.
