You spot a face in a weathered tree, capture it, and post it publicly with the Mission hashtags.
You tell Earthlings where you found it and what made you stop, smile, or look again.
That public contribution becomes part of the Mission activity. Selected finds may receive recognition or inspire a future conversation as The Ridiculous develops.

What is The Ripple?
The Ripple is what happens when one Earthling’s action moves beyond the action itself. A discovery, creation, result, or useful resource may inspire others, receive recognition, connect with an opportunity, or contribute to The Ridiculous participation ecosystem.
How do I share my participation?
Follow the sharing instructions on the specific Mission. For current Missions, post publicly on social media using #DoRidiculous and the Mission’s additional hashtag. A public post makes the participation discoverable.
Does everyone receive recognition or a reward?
No. Participation does not guarantee recognition, rewards, features, invitations, story inclusion, or an appearance on The Ridiculous Report. Each specific opportunity will explain its details, requirements, timing, and any selection process.
Do I need to read the books first?
No. The books introduce the characters and story universe, but each Mission explains what an Earthling needs to participate. You may enter through the books, The Ridiculous Report , or the current Missions .
How do brands, experts, and creators participate?
They may contribute a product, service, method, tool, creation, expertise, audience, or reward that gives Earthlings something useful to experience. Visit the Partner page to explore the possibilities.
